In a heartwarming display of community support, the Yolo Foundation recently organized a food share event at Dominion Church International in Toronto. The event, held with the goal of providing nourishment and comfort, saw over 200 refugee asylum seekers from the Black communities served with hot, wholesome meals.Toronto, known for its cultural diversity, has become a melting pot for individuals seeking refuge and asylum from various corners of the world. Unfortunately, many members of the Black communities find themselves stranded on the streets of the city, facing the harsh realities of displacement and uncertainty.
